The preschool program is from October through May and includes:
- Spanish
- Sign language
- Arts and crafts
- Science
- Math manipulatives
- Games and songs
- Letters
- Shapes
- Colors
- Sight words and writing skills
We also do fun activities such as holiday parties, "Mister Weather Man", face painting, pajama day and show and tell!
Where other preschool program focus on just the basics of letter recognition, writing their name and how to interact....I offer all that and so much more!
- A report card will be given for each child in the Fall and once again in the Spring so that you can see your child learn!
- Your child has the opportunity to move at his/her own learning pace!
- Younger children are given basic training: letter recognition, shapes, colors and easier crafts to build self esteem!
- Older children can move on to more advanced learning and crafts such as writing skills and sight words so they are reading by the time they go to kindergarten!
You will be provided with a bulletin and calendar each month so that you know what your child is doing each day! I also send you pictures via email each day for the first two weeks to reasure you that your child is doing just fine! Then you will receive pictures every 2-4 weeks there after so you can SEE some of the fun things your child is doing!
There is a 7 acre backyard park with a twisty slide, swings, merry-go-round and a big sand pit for lots of supervised outdoor play! We have outdoor learning such as watching flowers and apple trees grow, exploring walks and a fun summer carnival that involves a fish pond, sucker pull, bean bag toss, prizes and much more!
